Mrs. Rose Marie ‘Mary’ (Alesse) Jannetti, of Uxbridge, formerly of Milford and Waltham, went to our Lord on July 8, 2010, 17 days before her 89th birthday, surrounded by her adoring family and caregivers at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge.
Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Antonina (Malone) and Michaelangelo Alesse, Rose moved to Milford in 1980, and then to Uxbridge in 2007.
A loving mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, godmother, and friend to all that were blessed to have her in their life, she selflessly fought a long and courageous battle with many illnesses.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, Domenic Jannetti. She leaves her son, Domenic, and his wife, Cynthia (Prior) Jannetti and their son, Nathaniel of Mendon; her daughter, Annmarie White and her husband, Thomas, and their children, Ariana and Michael, of Douglas, her sisters, Angie Salvo, Sadie Cardillo, and Eleanor Martell all of Waltham, Jeanette Taylor of Hyannis, her brothers, Rosario ‘Sonny’ Alesse of Sandwich, Carmen Alesse of Arlington, and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends including her dear friend, Marion. Rose was the sister of the late Rosalie Bonica, Lena Green, and Raymond Alesse.
Family and friends will honor and remember Rose’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
