Rose M. Violette

Mrs. Rose M. (Greco)Violette of Dorchester, formerly of South Boston, died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Saint Joseph's Nursing Care Center, Dorchester. She was 93. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Filippo and Villoria (Brunini) Greco, she owrked for many years as a seamstress for Mario Sportswear in Boston. Rose was the wife of the late Joseph Costa and Albert Violette, and sister of the late Amadeo, Philip, and Edward Greco, Lena O'Hearn, and Mary Lindsay. She leaves one daughter, Victoria Perdicaro of Waltham; one grandaughter, Janice Holt Ullenbruch and her husband, Robert, of Dover; two brothers, Antonio Greco of East Boston and Joseph Greco of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Roslindale. Visitation will be held prior to the service Saturday morning from 9 - 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
