Ruth E. Corcoran

Mrs. Ruth E. (McFadden) Corcoran of Waltham died Tuesday February 1, 2005 in her home. She was 80. Born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late George and Charlotte (Riley) McFadden, she was a homemaker and had lived in Waltham for more than 50 years. She was the wife of the late Francis B. Corcoran Jr.; mother of the late Peter F. Corcoran and David G. Corcoran; and sister of the late William McFadden and Lillian Devoe. She is survived by her sons, Paul Corcoran of Waltham, Kevin G. Corcoran of San Diego, CA, John J. Corcoran of Maynard, and Francis B. Corcoran of Wrentham, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
