Ruth Gullotti

Waltham - Mrs. Ruth (Ryan) Gullotti, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Waltham, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, Florida. She was 77.

Ruth was born in Cambridge on March 4, 1934, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Doherty) Ryan and had lived many years in Cambridge before moving to Waltham in 1960. She spent over 30 years in Waltham raising her family before retiring to Cape Coral.

Ruth leaves her husband of 50 years, Dante Gullotti; her children, Jane Gullotti of Maynard, Richard Gullotti and his dear friend, Karen Dumas, of Boxboro, and Dennis Gullotti and his wife, Jill DeVirgilio, of Dedham; and her grandchildren, Olivia and Annabella Gullotti of Dedham.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ruth’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, March 27th, from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
