Ruth M. MacIvor

Mrs. Ruth M. (Graves) MacIvor, of Waltham, died Monday, January 8, 2007 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 85. Mrs. MacIvor was born in Somerville and had been a lifelong Waltham resident. She was a graduate of Saint Charles High School and was a member of the North Waltham and the Southside Senior Citizens Clubs. She was the wife of the late Paul D. MacIvor, the daughter of the late Roland and Ella (O’Brien) Graves and the sister of the late Marion McIvor. Mrs. MacIvor is survived by her children, Paulette Murphy and her husband, Richard, of Windham, New Hampshire, Sally J. MacIvor of Waltham, and Ruthellen Perry and her husband, John, of Northborough; her brothers, William Graves of Quincy, Edward Graves of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Robert Graves of Waltham; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
