Sally M. Gangi

Waltham - Mrs. Sally M. (Gilmore) Gangi, of Waltham, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 in her home. She was 61. Born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of Irene A. (Sullivan) Gilmore and the late Frank Gilmore, Sally was a homemaker. Sally was a 1965 graduate of Waltham High School and also worked for various bus companies in Waltham for the past ten years. She was also a volunteer at various baseball fields in Waltham. Sally was the mother of the late Franklin Gangi. In addition to her mother, Sally leaves her husband, James P. Gangi of Waltham; her children, Wendy I. Hankins of New Hampshire, James F. Gangi of Waltham, Shannon M. Crowley of Stoneham, and Jodi L. Gangi of Waltham; one sister, Judith Dupille of Waltham; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
