Waltham – Mrs. Sandra C. Castillo, of Waltham, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the de Rham Hospice Home in Cambridge. She was 52.
Sandra was born in Callao, Peru on January 29, 1961, a daughter of the late Arnaldo Castillo and Carmen Blanco, and she had been a Waltham resident for the past eight years. Until her illness she had been working at Russo's Market in Watertown.
She leaves her husband, German A. Monteza; her children, Daniel Monteza and Diana Muentes and her husband, José, all of Waltham; her brother and sister, Martin Castillo and Maria del Carmen Castillo, both in Peru and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Sandra's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, February 12th, from 5 to 9 p.m.
