Waltham – Mrs. Sarah E. ‘Sally’ (Parnell) Cusick of Waltham died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 72. Born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Manning) Parnell, she was a graduate of Cambridge Latin School. A Waltham resident for the past forty-seven years, Sally was a homemaker and had formerly worked for the Massachusetts Public Safety Commission. She had been a longtime parishioner at Saint Jude Church in Waltham where she had been a member of the Sodality. The wife of the late William R. Cusick, she leaves her children, William R. Cusick, Jr. and his wife, Dorie Krawiec of Sudbury and Sarah E. Curley and her husband, Sean of Waltham; her daughter-in-law, Dana M. Cusick of Waltham; one brother, Thomas Parnell of Brunswick, Maine; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sally was also the mother of the late Robert A. Cusick and sister of the late John Parnell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Funeral Mass Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
