Waltham – Mr. Scott C. Lindsay of Waltham died Monday, August 26, 2013, in his home. He was 87. Mr. Lindsay was born in Boston on June 9, 1926, a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Scott) Lindsay.

Scott was an electrician for Local #103 for sixty years. He was a World War Two veteran who served in the United States Navy.

An avid golfer, Scott also enjoyed the dances at the Elks on Saturday nights.

Scott married the former Michelena M. Calabro on June 2, 1957. They had lived for many years in Waltham. Michelena died on October 23, 2007.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Laurie A. Leone and her husband, Larry, of Billerica; his grandchildren, Kati Mapa and her husband, Joe, Amanda Leone, and Michael Leone; his great grandson, Bobby Leone; his sisters-in-law, Rose Ferry and Joan McKillop; and many nieces and nephews.

Scott was the brother of the late William, David, Fred, and Phyllis Lindsay.

Family and friends will honor and remember Scott's life by gathering on Friday morning, August 30th, at 10:30 in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham where his Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.
