Sean E. Eagan

Albuquerque, NM - Mr. Sean E. Eagan, of Albuquerque, formerly of Waltham, died peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2009 in Albuquerque due to heart disease. He was 53. Sean was born in Waltham on August 18, 1956 and was a son of Marilyn (Steede) Eagan of Waltham and the late Waltham Deputy Fire Chief Charles R. Eagan. He had lived in Waltham for most of his life before moving to New Hampshire and then to New Mexico. Sean served with the United States Army and had been a Waltham Firefighter. Most recently he had worked for the Veterans Administration in Albuquerque. In addition to his mother, he leaves his sisters and brothers, Kevin C. Eagan and his wife, Beth, Terence J. Eagan, Marilyn C. Lefort and her husband, Wayne, Timothy M. Eagan and Mary P. Eagan, all of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Sean's life by gathering for his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham. Burial will be private.
