Sheila A. (Fennelly) Anderson

Waltham – Mrs. Sheila A. (Fennelly) Anderson, of Waltham, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at her home. She was 78.

Sheila was born in Newton on September 20, 1937, a daughter of the late Richard M. and Josephine F. (Nally) Fennelly and was a graduate of Our Lady's High School in Newton.

After high school Sheila attended floral design school and worked in the field for a number of years.

She leaves her husband, Donald F. Anderson; her son, Scott W. Anderson and his wife, Joanne, of Pepperell; her grandchildren, Chelsea and Clay Anderson; her brother, William J. Fennelly of Mendon and several nieces and nephews.

Sheila was also the mother of the late Keith D. Anderson and sister of the late Richard M. Fennelly, Jr.

Family and friends will honor and remember Sheila's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, May 31st from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.

Memorial donations may be made to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, MA 02451 or to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 90 Wells Avenue, Newton, MA 02459.
