Sheila V. McDonald

Waltham - Mrs. Sheila V.(Day) McDonald of Waltham died Sunday September 5, 2004 in her home. She was 80. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Hurley) Day, she worked as a secretary for many years for the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham. She was a member of the Regis College Guild and a member of the Ladies Sodality of Saint Mary’s Church in Fall River and Our Lady’s Church in Waltham. She was also an avid knitter. She was the wife of the late Edward J. McDonald and a sister of the late Joseph and Gerald Day. She is survived by her sister, Catherine T. Fratantuono of Waltham and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Memorial donations may be made to HealthCare Dimensions, 764 Main Street, Waltham, MA 02451.
