Mrs. Sheila (Collagan) Segreve passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at Christopher House Nursing Home in Worcester. She was 80 years old.
Sheila was born in Waltham on June 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Walter and Edith (O'Connor) Collagan. Raised in Waltham she graduated from Waltham High School.
For many years she worked at Grover Cronin's on Moody Street in Waltham. It was there that she met the love of her life, the late William Segreve. They married on June 27, 1959 at St. Charles Church in Waltham and went on to raise a family of five. Together they enjoyed many meals at the Chateau, Ritzy's Seafood and Dairy Joy.
More than life itself, Sheila loved her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, love of her family, devotion to all of her many fur babies but most of all her laughter, love and wisdom.
In addition to her husband of 41 years, Bill, she is predeceased by her brother Walter Collagan.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Kathy (Segreve) LaRosee and her husband, Bill, of Sterling, Bill Segreve of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Tom Segreve and his wife, Karen, of Canton, Judy (Segreve) Dennis and her husband, Paul, of Natick and Debbie (Segreve) Mazejka and her husband, Tim, of Shrewsbury. She was also the beloved 'Grammie' to her 11 cherished grandchildren, Tim LaRosee and his wife, Bridget, Jon LaRosee and his wife, Ashley, Joey, Mike and Nick LaRosee, Marina and Nathan Segreve, Sam and Adriana Dennis and Adam and Shannon Mazejka. We love you Grammie, forever in our hearts. "Tomorrow is another day."-Grammie
Sheila also leaves behind her brother Robert Collagan, sister in law Marge Collagan, along with many nieces and nephews
Sheila's family would like to thank the staff at Christopher House in Worcester for their kindness and compassionate care they extended to Sheila and her family during this very difficult time. During her stay at Christopher house, they became extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30th in St. Mary's Church, 133 School St., Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
