Steven K. Huff, of Waltham, died on Tuesday, March 19,2024 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. He was 61.
Born in San Pedro California on February 4, 1963, Steven was the son of the late Elwin M. Huff and Ann M. (Kelly) (Huff) Cody. He received his education in Waltham and graduated from Waltham Vocational High School. Throughout his career, Steven dedicated many years as a school bus monitor at JSC Transportation and had previously worked for Tom Snyder Productions and Sunoco gas station.
In his leisure time, Steven found joy in activities such as bowling, playing pool, and shuffleboard with friends at the Moose Lodge, where he was a member. An enthusiastic supporter of Boston sports teams, Steven's passion for sports was evident to all who knew him.
Steven is now together in heaven with his parents; his father Elwin who passed just months before his birth, and mother Ann who passed just last month. He was also predeceased by his brother, Thomas J. Huff, Sr.
Steven leaves his siblings, Irene M. D’Agostino (Ray) of Natick, James D. Huff (Donna Shumski) of Hudson, and Paul A. Cody (Jennifer) of Framingham; his nieces and nephews, Peter D’Agostino (Megan), Mark D’Agostino (Susan) and Emily D’Agostino, Alicia Mitchell (Jahmar), Thomas J. Huff, Jr. (Christina), Paul J. Cowing (Kathleen), and Travis Cody; and his grandnieces and grandnephews, Dominic, Enzo, Natalie, Michael, Alison, Jordyn and Marlie.
Family and friends will honor and remember Steven's life by gathering to visit on Thursday, April 4th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street Waltham followed by his graveside service and burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown at 12:30 p.m.
