Susan E. Doucette

Waltham – Ms. Susan E. Doucette, of Waltham, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home. She was 48.

Susan was born in Waltham on February 16, 1964, a daughter of the late George P. and Carlena M. (Evans) Doucette, and had been a lifelong resident. A 1982 graduate of Waltham High School, she had worked for a number of years at Waltham Supermarket and later for CVS Stores. Susan was also a longtime member of the Chesterbrook Gardens Tenants Association.

She leaves her children, Rachel M. Doucette and Sean P. Doucette-LeBlanc, both of Waltham; her sisters and brothers, Bruce M. Doucette of Franklin, Brian P. Doucette of Waltham, Betsy M. Doucette-Kane of Watertown, Barbara J. Doucette, Carla J. Doucette, both of Waltham, Andrew J. Doucette of Alabama, Peter F. Doucette of Hopedale and Steven C. Doucette of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Susan's life by gathering for calling hours on Sunday, February 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham and will conclude with her funeral service at 5 p.m.
