Mrs. Susan A. Litowitz, of Sudbury, died Monday, June 19th in her beloved home following a three year battle with cancer. She was 69.
Susan was born in Miami Beach, Florida on April 29, 1954, the daughter of the late Robert and Donna (Balkan) Litowitz. She was the valedictorian of her high school and then earned her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. During her career, she owned and operated graphics arts businesses in Chicago, Illinois and Lowell, with the most recent being SusanADesigns. Throughout her life Susan participated and supported many causes with her primary focus on education, music and arts for children, animal rescue and preservation of natural land and its unique flora.
In addition to her beloved husband, James Hill, she leaves her step-children and their spouses, Stephanie and Charles Hill-Manuel and James Jr and Felicia Hill; her grandchildren, Sophia Manuel, Faith and James Hill, III; her brothers and their spouses, Arthur and June Litowitz, Budd and Deana Litowitz; her In-law's, Elizabeth and Charles Lefebvre; her nieces and nephews, Alexandra and Assi Siles, Jennifer Litowitz and Peter Mead, Lindsay Litowitz and Luis Vargas, Alaia and Shawn Earnest; Krista and Michael Lefebvre, Emily and Federico Nusymowicz, Carly and Ezra Amichai and her cousin E'lisha and Kent Knouse, loved aunts, uncles, grandnieces and nephew and many friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Susan’s life by gathering in the Martha Mary Chapel, 105 Wayside Inn Road, Sudbury, on Monday, June 26th where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Luncheon will follow at the Wayside Inn. A private family burial will follow later in the day.
