Susan M. Mizzoni

Waltham – Ms. Susan M. Mizzoni, of Waltham, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice in Wayland. She was 53.

Susan was born in Somerville on September 7, 1961 and moved to Waltham with her family as an infant where she had been a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Waltham High School.

She had worked as a call center supervisor for Tufts Health Plan for a number of years and before that she worked at Brandeis University in Waltham. A pet lover all of her life, her dogs were her constant companions.

Susan leaves her mother, Phyllis (Simmons) Mizzoni of Westford; her brothers, Glen M. Mizzoni of Waltham and David S. Mizzoni and his wife, Susan, of Saco, Maine and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the daughter of the late Robert F. Mizzoni and sister of the late Robert P. "Muzi" Mizzoni.

Family and friends will honor and remember Susan's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, June 30th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham.
