Theresa M. (Paone) Kelley

Waltham – Mrs. Theresa M. (Paone) Kelley, of Waltham, died on Friday, December 23, 2016 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 87.

Theresa was born in Watertown on October 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Jerry and Claire (Lapriore) Paone. She was raised and educated in Watertown and moved to Waltham more than sixty years ago. Until her retirement she worked providing cafeteria service to several area companies and she also loved to follow all of the New England sports teams.

She was the wife of the late John V. Kelley and is survived by her children, Jacqueline Cassidy of Waltham, John Kelley, of Bel Air, Maryland and Edward Kelley of Waltham; her grandchildren, Kelley and Scott Cassidy, Edward, Ryan, Sean, Erin and Sara Kelley; her siblings, Viola Denault of Waltham, Evelyn Wade of Burlington and Jerry Paone of Watertown and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Frank, Emidio and Elmer Paone, Annie Seabold, Joanne Sheehan, Mary Palermo, Nellie Dunton and her twin, Esther LeSanto.

Family and friends will honor and remember Theresa's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20),Waltham on Thursday December 29, 2016 at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to the Saint Jude Church, 147 Main St., Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.
