Theresa M. 'Terry' Kett

Billerica – Mrs. Theresa M. ‘Terry’ (Brazell) Kett, of Billerica, formerly of Waltham, died Monday, June 28, 2010 in her home. She was 61.

Terry was born in Concord on November 20, 1948, a daughter of the late Francis E. and Ellena M. (Hayes) Brazell. She was raised in Waltham where she had been a resident until moving to Billerica twenty years ago. Her second home for the past twenty-eight years was at Frye Island, Maine where she and her family spent many happy summers.

She was a 1967 graduate of Waltham High School and had worked as a pharmacy technician at the E.N. Rogers Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford. She found her greatest joy however spending time with her granddaughters, Shelby and Kaitlyn.

Terry leaves her husband, John B. Kett; her children, Lisa L. Houghton-LeCuyer and her husband, Bernard P., Jr. of Milford, New Hampshire and Jonathan M. Kett of Cape Cod; her grandchildren, Shelby and Kaitlyn Houghton; her sister, Judith A. ‘Judy’ Burgess and her husband, Thomas, of The Villages, Florida; her brother, Frank E. Brazell and his wife, Rita, of Norwood and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Terry’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
