Waltham Theresa J. Olivo of Waltham died Sunday, February 4, 2007 in Emerson Hospital, Concord. She was 73. Born in Waltham, Theresa had lived in Concord from 1961 to 1993 before returning to Waltham. She was a communications operator at Protocol Communications in Concord. She also worked at Wayside Florist in Concord. Theresa lived for her children as they were the world to her. She was a volunteer at the Waltham Public Library and for Meals on Wheels in Waltham. Theresa was a member of Saint Marys Parish where she was a faithful and loyal daily communicant as well as a member of the Ladies Sodality. She did what she was told by God and her parents. Theresa enjoyed history, gardening, reading, and cooking. Theresa was the daughter of the late Dominic and Margaret (Alongi) Olivo and the sister of the late Robert Olivo, Mary Plant, and Rose Nickerson. She is survived by her children, Deborah J. Rizzitano of Acton, Kenneth M. Rizzitano of Concord, Dominic A. Rizzitano of Medfield, Charlene R. Hancock of Acton, and Andrea Rizzitano of Waltham; her grandchildren, Larry, Alanna, Christina, Lauren, and Dominic, Jr.; her great-grandchild, Dashaun; her brothers, Nicholas Olivo of Holden, Sebastian Olivo of Natick, and Dominic Olivo of Newton; her sisters, Antoinette Marella of Abington, Ida Quinlin of Florida, Jean Glynn of Chatham, and Margaret Cormier of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
