Waltham - Ms. Theresa M. Pelrine, of Waltham, died Sunday January 9, 2011 at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham. She was 88.
Theresa was born on March 1, 1922, a daughter of the late Edwin A. and Agnes (Hale) Pelrine. Born and raised in East Boston she later moved to Medford, having settled in Waltham thirty-seven years ago. She was a bookkeeper for forty-five years at the Anderson Power Company in South Boston before her retirement in 1987. Theresa was also a daily communicant at St. Mary’s Church in Waltham.
She leaves her sister Eleanor R. Goldsack of West Medford and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was the sister of the late Genevieve M. Pelrine, John E. Pelrine and William J. Pelrine.
Family and friends will honor and remember Theresa’ life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte.20), Waltham on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
