Mrs. Theresa "Terry" (Bahros) Pintabone of Waltham died Monday, December 29, 2014 in her home. She was 94. Mrs. Pintabone was born in Somersworth, New Hampshire, on October 8, 1920. She was the oldest child of the late Nicholas and Stella (Logothetis) Bahros.
Terry was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1939. She met her future husband, Philip, while working at the Raytheon Company. They were married on September 9, 1945.
Terry loved dancing, going to the theatre, all types of music, and family trips to Cape Cod and New Hampshire. Being a wonderful cook, her greatest joy was entertaining at home for her family and friends. Terry had thousands of recipes from which she would create a delicious meal from appetizers to dessert. She also had a passion for gardening and loved to restore wilted plants that friends and family would bring to her for her gifted knack of bringing them back to life.
Terry worked as a loan officer for the RTN Credit Union in Waltham for twenty-five years until her retirement.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Pintabone and Patrice Pintabone both of Waltham and Diane Pintabone of Lakewood, California; her sister, Jane McGonigle of Rockland, her brothers, Peter Behrikis of Belmont and Dr. Anthony Bahros of Norwell, and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was also the sister of the late John Behrikis, William Bahrikis, and George
Behrikis.
Family and friends will honor and remember Terry's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, January 1st, from 4-8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Friday morning where her Funeral Service will be held at 10 am. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
