Thomas F. Glynn

Shrewsbury - Mr. Thomas F. Glynn, Jr. of Shrewsbury, formerly of Waltham, died Friday, June 3, 2005 in his home. He was 88. Born in Ireland, Mr. Glynn had lived in Waltham for many years before moving to Shrewsbury in 1996. He had worked for the Boston Gas Company until his retirement. Mr. Glynn was the husband of the late Bridget M. (Daly) Glynn, the son of the late Thomas F. and Margaret (Hynes) Glynn and the brother of the late Minnie Coffey, Patrick, John, and Dermot Glynn. He is survived by his children, Mary B. Eyssallenne of Nashua, NH, Thomas F. Glynn, III and his wife Cathleen of Waltham, Noreen M. Davoli and her husband Franco of Marlboro, Eileen T. Budge and her husband Norman of Framingham, John M. Glynn and his wife Cindy of Brockton, and Joan M. Nelson of Shrewsbury; his brother, Rev. Msgr. Michael Glynn of Jackson, MS; his sister, Sr. Nonie Glynn of Dublin, Ireland; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
