Thomas L. Lee

Waltham – Mr. Thomas L. Lee, of Waltham, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 78.

Tom was born in Canton Province, China on June 22, 1932, a son of the late Kwong Lee and Lim Shee Lee, and had been a Waltham resident since 1965. He was a graduate of Toho University in Tokyo, Japan and was a pharmacist working at several Boston hospitals during his career. He was a longtime member of Waverly Oaks Athletic Club where he was a regular swimmer and practiced yoga.

He leaves his wife, Priscilla M. (Wong) Lee; his children, Elayne P. Chi and her husband, Bill, of Framingham, Nancy E. Lee and her fiancé, Bob Rothfuchs, of Hudson, New Hampshire, Matthew T. Lee and David R. Lee, both of Waltham; his brother Robert Lee of West Roxbury and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Tom’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 11 a.m. on Thursday morning when his funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
