Weston - Mr. Thomas B. McMahon, of Weston, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 in his home. He was 58.
Tom was born in Manchester, Iowa, on June 12, 1956, a son of Elizabeth "Betty" (Doyle) McMahon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the late Harold McMahon. He was raised and educated in Iowa and moved to Massachusetts shortly after high school. He was the owner of McMahon Landscaping in Weston for many years.
In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by his children, Angela McMahon and her husband Justin Serpone, of Hadley and Tyler McMahon of Maynard; his grandchildren, Lily Serpone and Tyson Serpone; his siblings, Michael McMahon and his wife Gina, of Hayward, CA, Dennis McMahon and his wife Korena of Fremont, CA, Kay (McMahon) Fomon and her husband Chris Fomon, of Iowa City, IA, Susan McMahon Hayes and her husband Patrick Hayes, of Boulder CO, Jeffrey McMahon of Las Vegas, NV and James McMahon and his wife Lynn of Algona, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Jean McMahon.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Iowa.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to "The Tyler McMahon College Fund", C/O Angela McMahon, 7 Bayberry Lane, Hadley, MA 01035.
