Mashpee Mr. Thomas M. McNamara of Mashpee, formerly of Waltham and Framingham, died Monday January 3, 2005 in his home. He was 70.<br><br>Born in Waltham, a son of the late James and Mary (Walsh) McNamara, he had lived in Framingham for 20 years before moving to Mashpee. Until his retirement, Mr. McNamara worked for 25 years as Director of Support Services at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. He was a graduate of Saint Marys High School, Waltham and Boston College. Mr. McNamara was very involved in several Dana Farber activities and participated yearly in the Pan Mass Challenge and the Jimmy Fund Walk.<br><br>He leaves his wife, Janet E. (Jenney) McNamara; his children, Karen M. Ciriello and her husband Robert of Norwood, Thomas M. McNamara, Jr. of Hanover, Susan M. Koller and her husband Scott of Victoria, MN and Patrick E. McNamara and his wife Julie of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Timothy and Christopher Ciriello and Kaleigh, Patrick and Allison McNamara; his brother, Rev. Msgr. Eugene P. McNamara of Cambridge; four sisters, Judith Mumford of Westwood, Anne Touchstone of Dedham, Jane Bergin and Sheila Breen, both of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Eileen Keefe, Ita Delorey, John, Edward, Alfred and James McNamara, Jr.<br><br>Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham and on Friday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Mashpee Commons, where Toms Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Great Neck Woods Cemetery, Mashpee.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115 or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 270 Communication Way, Hyannis, MA 02601. <br>
