UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR BOB'S SERVICES:
Family and friends will honor and remember Bob's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on FRIDAY, AUGUST 26th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on SATURDAY, AUGUST 27th before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.

Thomas Robert Pickette was born on August 3, 1933 in Waltham, MA. He was the oldest son of the late Romeo and Irene (Stankard) Pickette. He is a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Waltham (class of 1951) and Boston College (class of 1958).
Bob married his high school sweetheart, the late Dorothy "Dot" (Worden) Pickette, in 1956. In their 66 years of marriage, they raised eight children and were blessed with twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Professionally, Bob enjoyed a career in real estate property management, serving as President of Corcoran Management Company in Braintree, MA for more than 30 years. Bob also held various positions within the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
After his retirement in 1998, Bob enjoyed traveling, sailing and golfing, but his most cherished times were those spent with his wife Dot, his children, and his grandchildren. He lovingly cared for Dot throughout her battle with Alzheimer's disease. She passed away on January 12, 2022.
Bob recently celebrated his 89th birthday surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He passed away at home on Monday, August 8, 2022.
He leaves his children, Karen Petrie (Mike Incutto) of Hyannis, Thomas R. Pickette (Karen) of Burlington, Timothy R. Pickette (Cindy) of Stoughton, Dorothy A. Wentworth (James) of Shrewsbury, Jacqueline A. Steffon (Greg) of Holden, Jenifer A. Thompson (Thomas) of Norfolk, James F. Pickette (Megan) of Belmont, and Peter E. Pickette (Sarah) of Rye, New York; Bob will also be dearly missed by his twenty-one grandchildren, Richard, Sean, Shannon and Mike, Ryan and Achai, Ashley, Tommy and Julie, Kevin and Marea, Jeffrey, Samantha, Lauren and Ben, Daniel, Michael, Antonio, Victoria, Andrew, Matthew, Caitlin, Owen, Elly, Anna, Ethan and three great grandchildren, Katherine and Tommy IV and Aidan James; his brother Richard "Dick" Pickette (Barbara) of Maryland; his brother-in-law, William Morrissette of Waltham, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, Dot, he was predeceased by siblings, Harvey and Donald Pickette, Sally Waitt (late Walter), and Martha Morrissette.
