Brighton – Mr. Timothy R. Young, of Brighton, died Friday, September 27, 2013 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 22.

Tim was born in South Weymouth on September 19, 1991 and had lived in Waltham before moving to Brighton three years ago. He was a graduate of Waltham High School and New England Tractor Training School and had been working as a welder at Boston Welding in Woburn.

He leaves his mother and his father, Ann M. (Tallent) Young of Brighton and Richard T. Young of Waltham; his sisters and brother, Kristin L. Young of Waltham, Rachel E. Young of Boston, Renee L. Beaton of Watertown and Cody J. Young of Waltham; his step-brother and sister, Mark A. and Autumn A. Muraca; his grandmothers, Della Tallent of Billerica and Theresa Young of North Andover; his niece and godchild, Riley Saulnier; his nephews, Dylan Beaton and Brendan Gibbon and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will honor and remember Timothy's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, October 3rd from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Committal services will held in Newton Cemetery Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to Waltham High School Metal Fabrication Student Activities Fund, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA 02452.
