Tina P. Farias

Waltham – Mrs. Tina P. (Rico) Farias, of Waltham, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 46.

Tina was born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 15, 1963 and had been a Waltham resident for more than thirty years.

She leaves her husband, Hector A. Farias, her children, Carmen Alamo-Farias of Waltham and Orlando Farias of Roslindale; her sisters, Margaret Nalepa and her husband, Stanley, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, ArmaJean Rico of Central Falls, Rhode Island, Peggy Boudreau and her husband, Norman, of Waltham, and Mary Lou Vecchione and her husband, Philip, of Milford; her brother, Jimmy Rico and his wife, Lauren, of Billerica and several nieces and nephews.

Tina was also the mother of the late Hector J. Farias and a sister of the late Linda Rico and Tommy Rico.

Family and friends will honor and remember Tina’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham, where graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.
