Tore H. Dahl

Belmont - Mr. Tore H. Dahl, of Belmont, died Friday, February 27. 2015 in Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. He was 94.
Tore was born in Oslo, Norway, on January 10, 1921, a son of the late Hans and Margit (Nilsen) Dahl. He was a carpenter and owned a carpentry business in Needham for many years.
He came to the United States in 1945 and had lived for many years in Belmont before moving to Waltham. Tore was a member of the Norwegian Glee Club of Boston as well as the Sons of Norway.
He was the husband of the late Else (Hansen) Dahl and is survived by his nephew, Kenneth G. Hawkins of Weymouth and his friends and caregivers, Hans Christensen and Astrid Carliner.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 11th, at 10 am in the Scandinavian Living Center.
