Tracy M. Carvalho, of Waltham, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at her home. She was 47.
Tracy was born in Cambridge on August 29, 1976, to Alyce Febbi and the late Michael Hunter. A large part of her formative years was spent in Somerville where she later moved to Arlington and graduated High School.
Throughout her career and life, Tracy dedicated herself to serving others. She worked as a teacher's assistant, a barista at her mother's coffee shop, Tammy's Place, at the JFK Federal Building, and also assisted her mother in running a daycare business. Tracy truly cherished the time spent working alongside her mother and particularly enjoyed the three years they resided near the beach in Port Charlotte, Florida, where she delighted in long walks along the shore.
Tracy will be remembered for her radiant smile and big heart. She was a wonderful loving daughter who was always looking for ways to help people. She enjoyed the time spent with her niece and nephew. Tracy also found joy in building intricate Lego creations.
Tracy is survived by her loving mother Alyce Febbi of Somerville, her brother Logan Febbi of Westminster, and Logan's children, whom she adored, Aiden and Hailey.
Family and friends will honor and remember Tracy's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, May 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial is private.
