Waltham – Miss Veronica M. Loughlin, of Waltham, formerly of Cambridge, died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 92.
Veronica was born in Cambridge on October 10, 1921, a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Ward) Loughlin, and had lived there before moving to Waltham in 1975. Until her retirement she worked as a secretary at Lundy Sales in Waltham. She had also been a longtime volunteer at Waltham Hospital.
The sister of the late Leonard, Raymond and Edmund Loughlin and Madelyn Johnston, she leaves her nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Bradley of Canton, Connecticut, Jeanne Mazzola of Torrington, Connecticut, James Loughlin and Ellen Pincus, both of Seattle, Washington and her dear friend, Sheila McGrady of Waltham.
Family and friends will honor and remember Veronica's life by gathering for her Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Friday morning, December 13th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
