Waltham Mrs. Veronica D. (Makiej) Wilson of Waltham died Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Epoch of Weston following a brief illnes. She was 80. Born in Clinton, Mrs. Wilson had lived in Lowell before moving to Waltham in 1945. She was a homemaker who also owned and operated Wilson Realty Properties in Waltham. She was involved with Saint Marys Mothers Club and belonged to Saint Marys Bowling League for many years. She enjoyed creating floral art, line dancing, traveling and vacationing at Lake Winnipesaukee, NH and Fort Lauderdale, FL. Mrs. Wilson was the wife of the late Harold L. Wilson, the daughter of the late Walter and Bronis (Krysiak) Makiej, and sister of the late Joseph and Peter Makiej. She is survived by her children, Marsha Pilette and her husband, Yvan, of Waltham, Donna Boulton and her husband, William, of Moultonborough NH, and Alicemarie Wilson-Reno and her husband, Tony, of Pepperell; her sisters, Helen Price of Lowell and Julie Dallaire of Pelham NH; her brothers, Walter Makiej, Chester Makiej, John Makiej, Franko Makiej all of Lowell and Raymond Makiej of Carlsbad, CA; 7 grandchildren, Michele Pilette-Pavic of Osijek, Croatia, Yvan P. Pilette II of Tokyo, Japan, Wilson Pilette of Waltham, Mark Boulton of Laconia, NH, Brian Boulton of Oconomowoc, WI, Christina Boulton of Waltham and Adam Reno of Pepperell; and 7 great-grandchildren, Giselle and Alexander Pilette, Lucijan and Lorena Pavic, and Brianna, Brandon and Jasmine Boulton. The Funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Josephs Cemetery, East Chelmsford. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
