Waltham- Mr. Vincent Bourgeois of Waltham died Tuesday January 6, 2004 in Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. He was 78. Born in Waltham a son of the late Venant and Henrietta (Roche) Bourgeois, Mr. Bourgeois was a carpenter for the Waltham School Department for thirty years until his retirement. Mr. Bourgeois was a member of the Lexington Elks, Waltham V.F.W., the Waltham Elks and in his spare time he loved to play horseshoes. Mr. Bourgeois was the brother of the late Patrick, Joseph, Daniel, Paul, Harry, and James Bourgeois, Margaret Guillaume, Lucy Moore and Mary Viscogliosi. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Smith) Bourgeois, one daughter Caren A. Hubler and her husband Bill of Orlando, FL; one brother, William Bourgeois of Newton, one sister, Sophie Melanson of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
