Waltham - Mr. Vincent P. LaSpada, of Waltham, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Golden Living Nursing Center in West Newton. He was 78.
Vincent was born November 1, 1936 in Waltham, a son of the late Joseph S. and Virginia (Merrullo) LaSpada. A lifelong Waltham resident he worked as an independent truck driver for many years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary A. (Coluccio) LaSpada who died in October, 1986 and his brother, Richard LaSpada.
He leaves his son, Joseph S. LaSpada and his wife, Laurie of Billerica; his grandchildren, Leandra, Nicholas and Brittney LaSpada; his siblings, Francine 'Frannie' Cannistraro of Wareham, Theresa Klein and her husband, Al of Watertown, Anthony LaSpada and his wife, Barbara of Antioch, California and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Vinnie's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, August 17th from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by his graveside service in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham at 11:15 a.m.
