Waltham – Mrs. Wanda M. ( Marlinski ) Cronin of Waltham died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 in Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She was 91. Born in Chelsea, Mrs. Cronin had lived in Waltham over forty years. She was a resident of Waltham Crossings. Mrs. Cronin worked at Grover Cronin’s Department Store in Waltham for many years as a purchaser. She was the wife of the late John A. Cronin; the daughter of the late Vincent and Pelagia ( Witczak ) Marlinski and the sister of the late Genevieve Czyzewski, Regina Marlinski, and Helen Sozanski. She is survived by her nieces, Wanda Eaton of South Yarmouth, Eunice Campbell of Plum Island, and Eleanor McCarthy of New Hampshire and many grand nieces and grand nephews. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, July 17, at 8 am from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 9 am. Burial will be in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5-8 pm.
