Wanda Romaniak

Waltham – Miss Wanda Romaniak, of Waltham, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Wingate at Brighton. She was 88.

Wanda was born in New Bedford on January 17, 1926, a daughter of the late Dyonizy and Maryanna (Wojtowicz) Romaniak, and had been a Waltham resident since 1962. Until her retirement Wanda worked as a secretary for thirty-five years in the engineering department of the Raytheon Company.

She leaves her sisters, Helen Peltier of Weston and Alice LaFountain of Waltham and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was also a sister of the late Chester and Longin Romaniak.

Family and friends will honor and remember Wanda's life by gathering to visit at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, December 27th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
