Warren T. Eastman

Boylston – Mr. Warren T. Eastman of Boylston, formerly of Waltham entered into rest January 8, 2007 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital, Worcester. He was 85. Born in Cambridge, a son of the late Merle and Jessie (Sweet) Eastman, Warren was a building engineer for Beacon Tremont Corporation in Boston for twenty-three years until his retirement in 1996. He had lived in Waltham for fifty-five years before moving to Boylston three years ago. Mr. Eastman was the brother of the late Merle Eastman, Edward Eastman and Frances Chaffee. He leaves his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Lillian R. (Wood) Eastman. He was the loving father of Susan J. Stebbins and her husband, Roger, of Boylston, and he was the adored grandfather of Jessica, Charles and Ryan Miller and Hailee Stebbins. He also leaves four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren living out of state and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12th at 1:30 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
