Warren J. Vail

Mr. Warren J. Vail, of Waltham, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was 68. 

Born on February 24, 1956 in Waltham he was a son of the late James T., Sr. and Lorraine C. (Barboza) Vail.  A lifelong Waltham resident he graduated from Waltham Vocational High School with the class of 1975. 

Warren worked in shipping & receiving at Brandeis University for over 32 years, retiring in March, 2018. He had an interest and passion for various genres of music including Led Zeppelin, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers and The Who. One of Warren’s favorite spots to visit was York Beach, Maine. 

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, James T. Vail, Jr. and sister, Kathleen Consentino. 

He leaves his siblings, Patricia Erba (Angelo) of Boylston and Kenneth J. Vail (Karen) of Burlington and several nieces, nephews and their families. 

Family and friends will honor and remember Warren's life by gathering on Friday, August 9th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
