Wilfred P. Grimes

Waltham- Mr. Wilfred P. Grimes of Waltham died Thursday February 19, 2004 in Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. He was 90. Born in Watertown, a son of the late Wilfred and Obline (Garrier) Grimes, Mr. Grimes was a Machinest for Watertown Arsenal for 29 years before his retirement. Mr. Grimes was a daily communicant at Saint Jude Church, Waltham. Mr. Grimes was the husband of the late Sarah V.(McHugh) Grimes and father of the late William P. Grimes. He is survived by his daughter Joan Mardirosian and her husband Fred of Waltham, his daughter in law Hazel Grimes of Waltham, five grandchildren Jean, Greg, Derek, Daryl, Douglas, his great grandchildren Amanda, Kelly, Connor, Brittany, and Kimberly. The Funeral will be held Monday February 23rd, at 9:30 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. Visiting hours Sunday February 22, 2-6 p.m.
