Mr. William P. Coye, of Waltham, died at home on Monday, January 22, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 55.
Bill was born in Waltham on October 27, 1962, the son of the late Edward J., Jr. and Yvonne E. (Gurney) Coye. He graduated from Waltham High School with the class of 1980 and had worked as a plasterer throughout his life. He was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams were the New York Yankees and New England Patriots. He loved being outdoors and his favorite hobby was fishing whenever possible.
He is survived by his children, Billie Jean Dion, Melanie Dion and Bryanne Dion; his siblings, Robert J. Coye, Thomas J. Coye and his wife, Diann, and Kenneth E. Coye and his wife, Lisa; his grandchildren, Madison Neal and Samuel Dion; his longtime companion, Donna DuBois; his nephews and niece, Joshua, Courtney, Corey, Cody and Connor Coye and many dear friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bill's life by gathering for his Memorial Mass on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Bill's name may be made to The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
