Waltham - Mr. William R. Desmond, of Waltham, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Belmont Manor Nursing Home in Belmont. He was 86.
Bill was born on February 5, 1928, a son of the late James and Nellie (Donovan) Desmond, and had been a lifelong Waltham resident. Until his retirement he worked locally as a taxi driver.
He was the brother of the late Donald and James Desmond.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bill's life by gathering for a graveside service in Calvary Cemetery, 250 High Street, Waltham on Thursday, December 4th at 1:30 p.m.
