William D. Doucette, of Waltham, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 24, 2019. He was 56.
Bill was born on January 3, 1963 in Boston a son of Patricia E. (Garber) Doucette of Waltham and the late Jerome F. Doucette. Raised in Waltham he was a graduate of Waltham Vocational High School with the class of 1981.
Self employed as an auto mechanic most of his life he was recently working at Lou's Custom Exhaust in Waltham. When not working with automobiles he was tinkering with and riding his motorcycles.
In addition to his mother, Patricia, he leaves his brother Jerome F. Doucette (late Anne Marie) of Methuen; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bill's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, May 29th from 4 to 7 p.m. and will conclude with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial in Mount Feake Cemetery is private.
