William L. Franks

Cambridge – William L. “Pudgie” Franks, of Cambridge, died suddenly Friday, February 16, 2007 in his home. He was 59. He leaves two sisters, Barbara J. Ahlman and her husband, Donald, of Hudson, and Deborah A. Elliott and her husband, Jerry, of Marlborough; a brother, Norman R. Franks of Concord, New Hampshire; three nephews and three nieces; many grandnieces and grandnephews. He was born in Waltham, a son of the late William J. and Mary Rita (LeClair) Franks. He worked in the maintenance department at the former Middlesex Country Hospital in Waltham. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Mount Feake Cemetery, Prospect Street, Waltham. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m.
