William F. Mannion

Mr. William F. Mannion, Sr. of Waltham died Wednesday December 31, 2003 in his home. He was 73. Born and raised in Waltham, a son of the late William and Louise (Doucette)Mannion, he was the former owner and operator of Royal Window Cleaning Company in Waltham for over fifty years with his son, William F. Mannion Jr. Mr. Mannion was a member of the Waltham Elks and also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and the White Mountains. Mr. Mannion was the brother of the late Charles Mannion. He is survived by his wife, Doris M. (Gallant), one son, Willliam F. Mannion, Jr. and his wife Jean of Waltham, two daughters, Donna M. Savia and her husband Stephen of Connecticut, Cheryl M. White and her husband Michael of Wilmington; one brother, Leo Bezanson of Tewksbury; two sisters, Barbara Denault of Ashland and Virginia Garvey of Billerica; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-5 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice, Inc 186 Alewife Brook Parkway, Suite 300, Cambridge, MA 02139.
