William H. Sutter

Waltham – Mr. William H. “Pa” Sutter, of Waltham, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 in his home after an illness. He was 84. He was born in Boston, a son of the late Joseph and Florence (Warford) Sutter, and had lived in Waltham for 37 years. Bill worked in maintenance for ITEC Corporation in Lexington for many years, before retiring. During World War II he served with the United States Coast Guard. He was also a life member of the PFC John M. Sullivan USMC VFW Post No. 10334 in Waltham. He leaves a daughter, Diane P. LeBlanc of Waltham; a granddaughter, Heidi Gurney and her husband Paul, of Brockton; two great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Christian Gurney of Brockton; other family members include Ellie and Molly LeBlanc of Waltham, Linda Marry of Brockton, and Janet and Paul MacIntyre of West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 12 noon Thursday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, Waltham. Interment will be in Mount Feake Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Memorials in his name to New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108 would be appreciated.
