Waltham – Mrs. Yvette L. (Paul) Vincuilla, of Waltham, died Friday, February 7, 2014 in the Wilmington Health Care Center. She was 83.
Yvette was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on March 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Alcide and Rachel (Veillette) Paul. She worked in the financial aid office at Brandeis University for a number of years and after retirement continued to work at Carlman's Hallmark Store in Concord and later at Weston Pharmacy in Weston. After her husband, Richard, died at the young age of forty-five, Yvette devoted her life to working hard to provide for her family.
The wife of the late Richard J. Vincuilla, she leaves her children, Richard J. Vincuilla, Jr., and his wife, Edith, of Hopkinton, Stephen D. Vincuilla and wife, Darlene, of Stow and Karen R. Anderson and her husband, Donald, of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Donald Anderson, Richard Vincuilla and his wife, Melanie, Tanya Vincuilla, Nicholas Vincuilla, Chelsea Anderson, Jayleen Vincuilla and Kristine Vincuilla; her sisters, Jeanne McCusker of N. Andover, Muriel Yenter of Amherst Junction, WI, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Susan M. Vincuilla and sister of the late Lorraine DeMella.
Family and friends will honor and remember Yvette's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, February 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St., Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Committal services will be held in Calvary Cemetery Chapel.
