Grande-Digue, NB – Mr. Yvon Goguen of Grande-Digue, New Brunswick,
formerly of Waltham, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at his home. He was 86.
Born in Cocagne, New Brunswick, Mr. Goguen had lived in Waltham for many years before returning to Canada. He was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Goguen was the husband of the late Lumina (LeBlanc) Goguen; the father of the late Denise Allain; the son of the late Levi and Prescilla (Cormier) Goguen; and brother of the late Leandre and Florence Goguen.
He is survived by his wife, Claira (Albert) Goguen; his children, Murielle Poirier and her husband, Jack, of Fredericton, NB, Paulette Wentworth of Alton, NH, Paul Goguen and his wife, Elizabeth, Claude Goguen and his wife, Antonietta, all of Marlborough, Norman Goguen of Hudson, NH and Charles Goguen and his wife, Denise, of Waltham; his sisters, Louise Cormier and her husband, Leo, of Waltham, Carmeline Bourque and her husband, Aquila, Aline Bourque and her husband, Ulysse, both of Cocagne, NB; his brothers, Lionel Goguen and his wife, Dorine, of Cocagne, NB, Henri Goguen and his wife, Marie, of Waltham, Philippe Goguen and his wife, Marie, of Gardner and Aurele Goguen and his wife, Florence, of Fitchburg; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham.
Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
